Strategy and Planning Associate
**About the Role** We are looking for a Strategy and Planning Associate to support strategic planning and forecasting for our Global Embedded Insurance portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of business planning, performance management, strategic analytics, and cross-functional coordination. You will drive short- and long-term planning cycles, assess growth and performance insights, and help ensure alignment across Product, Analytics, Marketing, Risk, and Global Finance through data-driven analysis. The ideal candidate is good with numbers, has strong analytical capabilities, can identify and perform strategic analyses to support problem-solving, and is able to work across global teams to achieve shared goals. **What the Candidate Will Do** 1. Support strategic planning by contributing to comprehensive growth plans, informing product prioritization cycles, and supporting long-range roadmap development across Embedded Insurance programs. 2. Drive monthly growth projection cycles in partnership with Global Finance by forecasting embedded product growth, tracking key metrics, validating financial assumptions, and ensuring alignment with regional financial plans. 3. Create a scalable monthly performance reporting cadence by highlighting emerging plan gaps, deviations from assumptions, and risks to meeting targets, in collaboration with the Optional Insurance Lead and cross-functional partners (Product, Risk, Ops, and Marketing). 4. Work closely with the Optional Insurance Lead, Data Scientists, and Planning & Analytics Lead to define OKRs, KPIs, and success metrics for annual and quarterly plans, and maintain dashboards and structured reporting systems to track program health, performance, and operational effectiveness. 5. Support business cases for new initiatives, product enhancements, and emerging market opportunities; prepare structured documentation, insights, and materials for leadership reviews and global alignment meetings. **What the Candidate Will Need** 1. Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. 2. 3+ years of experience in strategy, planning, analytics, operations, or consulting in a data-driven environment; strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel/Sheets. 3. Proven ability to apply structured, hypothesis-driven problem-solving to strategic planning, performance analysis, and operational decision-making. 4. Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, compelling insights and drive cross-functional execution. 5. Experience in technology, platform, strategic finance, insurance, or growth-focused organizations; high ownership mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
