Job Description
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for ingredient categories, providing market and supplier insights to maximize opportunities. Conduct bids and negotiate high-value supply agreements with key suppliers, coordinating contract implementation to ensure smooth execution. Regularly update and present strategies to executive-level stakeholders.
Responsibilities
+ Analyze spend data and understand business needs.
+ Conduct bids and negotiate high-value supply agreements with key suppliers.
+ Coordinate contract implementation and ensure smooth execution.
+ Provide market and supplier insights to maximize opportunities.
+ Execute complex sourcing strategies using various interventions, tools, materials, techniques, and systems.
+ Support Clif Bar ingredient sourcing migration processes and contracts.
+ Apply judgment to secure best value using new processes.
+ Advocate for change management with external and internal business partners.
+ Select, build, and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers.
+ Lead supplier development activities and set up cross-functional review meetings.
+ Travel to supplier locations to maintain connectivity and collaboration.
+ Identify and lead cost savings projects to meet aligned targets for ingredients.
+ Drive ideation and implementation of cost-saving projects with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
+ Proactively identify supply continuity risks and develop mitigation plans.
+ Lead business continuity projects for ingredient spend areas, ensuring strategy alignment with business priorities.
+ Work with suppliers on business contingency plans for supply risks.
+ Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders across various departments.
+ Manage internal customer feedback and supplier performance to improve procurement recognition.
+ Engage internal stakeholders and external partners to drive collaboration supporting strategic business needs.
Essential Skills

+ Contract management
+ 3+ years of sourcing experience
+ Food industry experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Minimum of bachelor's degree
+ Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience in sourcing or supply chain
+ Experience selecting and managing suppliers, including price negotiation, risk management, contract management, and global sourcing strategy development.
Work Environment
This hybrid role requires two days onsite and three days remote each week, offering a great opportunity to join a growing leader in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) space.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
