You work closely with functions and business units to develop roadmaps and to plan agreed-to outcomes. In this role, you ensure that commitments are met, and serve as the point of contact for Mondelēz International Digital Services.

How you will contribute

You will serve as the point of contact for issues and challenges that arise in the processes used in the shared services team and/or with third-party suppliers. In addition, you will support internal and external continuous improvement initiatives and manage business projects through to completion. You will also provide business consultancy and manage operational processes by ensuring that key performance indicators and performance management targets are met, and by sharing best practices and taking responsibility in the super key user community.

More about this role

Enables MDS’s portfolio of strategic and critical partners to successfully service the MDS organization throughout the E2E engagement cycle.

Through implementation of the Partner Excellence Program, the SPM team takes a holistic approach to manage our Strategic & Critical Operational Partners as an eco-system and build a strategic partner management CoE through fit-for-purpose initiatives, activities, and support

Enable value-based partnerships through a partner eco-system approach based on relevance to MDS strategy and objectives, and categorization of the Strategic Partner Profile.

SPM as “chief of staff” and trusted relationship driver enabling strong, mutually beneficial relationships across all stakeholders within the Partner eco-system, supporting genuine investment on both sides.

SPM expertise and advice in the de-escalation of issues and as a mediator in problem management, preventing impact on performance, costs, and compliance.     

What you need to know about this position:

To improve management of complex MDS Strategic Partner relationships, ecosystem, and programs, the Strategic Partner Manager will:

Provide an ecosystem of relationship management expertise & supporting programs, elevating partners’ performance & executional excellence

Creating a platform for dialogue and an opportunity for both Partner & MDS to mutually beneficial outcomes. 

Act as Strategic Partner Lead for a certain set of Strategic Partners.

Drive effective partner value, continually assessing and evolving Partner Excellence, utilizing all tools under the PEP program umbrella.

Deploy a "fit for purpose" governance, set up forums and leadership-level contacts with strategic partners, including QBRs, Performance Reviews, Commercial Councils, and Top-to-Top level meetings as appropriate

Build partnership and close collaboration with the MDS Partner Sponsor, Product Service Ops Manager, and relevant stakeholders in the Product/Platform teams for the selected partners

Ensure implementation and deployment of the various sub-Programs under the holistic Partner Excellence Program (PEP) umbrella.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners, serving as the primary point of contact.

Support the Global Strategic Partner Management Lead in the JBP Program Process (Joint Business Planning) for Top Tier Strategic partners as applicable.

Collaborating with MDS leads, Procurement, Finance, Tax, and Legal to enable robust relationship governance.

 At least 5-7 years' experience in a vendor management or strategic partnership development role.

 Proven capability to leverage Stakeholder engagement and the ability to work with colleagues from operations up to the senior level     

Education / Certifications:

University degree in Finance, Business Management, or similar discipline

6-8 years business-related experience, preferably in an IT, Shared Services, Procurement, or BPO environment

Job-specific requirements:

Experience of working in a global business services environment or internal service delivery 

Progressive Work Experience in IT and or BPO Outsourced environment in Vendor Mngt, Project Management, Process improvement, C.I., TPM,  or other quality programs.

Experience in complex organizations and matrix reporting relationships.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of commercial considerations.

Strong project management with hands-on delivery of end-to-end improvement projects, preferred Certified Green Belt or PMO certification

Technical Work Experience (MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, collaboration tools like SharePoint)
