Strategic Fleet Manager
### **About the Role** As an **Strategic Fleet Manager** on the Courier Operations team at **Uber Eats Spain**, you will play a critical role in the next evolution of Uber Eats’ fleet model. As we take a step further in how we partner with fleets, this role sits at the core of our strategy to drive sustainable growth, operational excellence, and long-term partner success. You will own the **strategic relationship with fleet partners**, acting as their primary advisor on growth, efficiency, and performance. By translating data into insights and actionable recommendations, you will help fleets scale effectively while improving quality and unit economics. You’ll work closely with the Fleet Partner Account Coordinator, who supports day-to-day operational needs, allowing you to focus on higher-impact, forward-looking initiatives. This is a highly visible role that collaborates cross-functionally and directly influences how Uber Eats operates with fleets across Spain. ### **What You'll Do. Key responsibilities.** - **Own strategic fleet relationships:** Act as the main point of contact for fleet partners on performance, growth strategy, and operational efficiency. - **Drive growth & efficiency:** Analyze fleet performance to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide clear, data-backed recommendations. - **Turn insights into action:** Design and lead high-impact projects, pilots, and experiments to improve fleet outcomes and overall marketplace health. - **Partner cross-functionally:** Work closely with Product, Marketplace Operations, Legal, Safety and Customer Support to execute initiatives and measure results. - **Influence fleet strategy:** Help shape Uber Eats’ evolving fleet model by bringing partner feedback, insights, and operational learnings into the business. - **Collaborate on execution:** Coordinate closely with the Fleet Partner Account Coordinator to ensure alignment between strategic direction and day-to-day account operations. - **Track impact:** Define success metrics, monitor performance, and communicate results to internal stakeholders and fleet partners. #### **Required Skills & Qualifications** ### Basic qualifications: - 3-5 years of professional experience in a related field (consulting, strategic partnerships, technology, operations, strategy, or analytics) with experience managing external partners or accounts in a strategic, consultative capacity. - Strong analytical skills (knowledge in SQL and Excel/Google Sheets) with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations. - Native in Spanish and strong level of English - Comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. ### Preferred qualifications: - #### Highly collaborative, with a proactive mindset and a problem-solving attitude. - #### Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment, delivering quality work on time. - A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a bias toward action and experimentation. #### **Why Join Us?** Uber Eats is **redefining its fleet partnerships**, and this role is central to that transformation.
