Strategic Account Manager, Uber Direct
## **About the Role** As an Strategic Account Manager for Uber Direct, you will own and grow a portfolio of Enterprise and Key Accounts, playing a key role in scaling Uber Direct in Spain. Uber Direct is Uber’s Delivery-as-a-Service solution, enabling merchants to offer on-demand and same-day delivery through their own websites or apps, powered by Uber’s courier network. The product operates across multiple verticals, including food, grocery, retail, and logistics, and represents a strategic growth opportunity for Uber beyond the traditional marketplace model. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for your partners in Spain, building strong relationships, driving adoption and growth, and ensuring Uber Direct delivers clear, measurable value. You will work closely with cross-functional teams while maintaining end-to-end ownership of your accounts’ performance and development. This is a hands-on, growth-oriented role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment, building long-term partnerships, and contributing to the expansion of a new and evolving business while using data. ## **What You Will Do** - Own a portfolio of Enterprise and Key Accounts, acting as the main commercial point of contact and trusted partner - Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including C level decision-makers - Clearly articulate and promote the Uber Direct value proposition, developing a strong understanding of last-mile, same-day delivery, and logistics use cases across different industries - Develop and execute joint growth plans with partners, identifying opportunities to increase volume, improve performance, and unlock additional value - Monitor account performance and analyze financial, quantitative, and qualitative data to drive continuous improvement in reliability and results - Provide regular updates on pipeline, performance, and forecasts through CRM management, weekly reviews, and quarterly business reviews - Present insights, recommendations, and results to both partners and internal stakeholders - Act as a problem solver and advocate for partners, working cross-functionally to address challenges and improve the overall Uber Direct offering - Contribute ideas and feedback to help evolve Uber Direct’s product, processes, and go-to-market approach in Spain ## **What You Will Need** - At least 4 years of experience in an account management or customer-facing commercial role, with proven experience managing relationships - A genuine interest in on-demand delivery, logistics, retail, or related industries Strong ownership mindset, with the willingness to go deep into problems and push through challenges to deliver results - Customer-focused approach, with a track record of building positive, long-lasting partnerships and delivering added value - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly present recommendations and influence stakeholders - Solid analytical skills, including experience working with Excel to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations - Native-level Spanish and working proficiency in English Uber's mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better.
