**Job Title: Stores Attendant-B**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a Stores Attendant-B to join our team at the El Campo Service Center. This role is essential in managing inventory and ensuring materials are properly accounted for and moved efficiently within our facility.
**MUST HAVE DIPLOMA OR GED.**

**Responsibilities**
+ Issue material under proper authorization and file required records, which may include picking up, hauling, and delivering materials.
+ Check received materials for quantity, conduct visual inspections for identity, breakage, and condition, and initiate and process material receipt and related records.
+ Report irregularities and abnormal conditions.
+ Identify, sort, and record returned materials, place usable materials in stock, and sort non-usable materials into scrap containers.
+ Operate computer terminals and printers supporting a materials management system and other office equipment such as calculators and scanners.
+ Prepare and pack materials for shipment or storage, including preparation of required shipping papers and other related records.
+ Operate material handling equipment such as hand trucks, forklift trucks, low lift trucks, hoists, overhead cranes, and order pickers.
+ Assist in maintaining efficient storage of materials, rearranging or changing bins and racks, and making material location changes.
+ Assist in maintaining adequate inventory levels through inventory cycle counts, perform discrepancy adjustments, and process all associated records.
+ Perform duties in accordance with company safety rules, operating regulations, and practices.
**Essential Skills**
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Minimum of one year work experience in inventory control and management, material handling, warehousing, or related fields.
+ Basic computer skills, including proficiency in inventory management software such as Maximo, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
+ Knowledge of logistics related to shipping and relocating inventory.
+ Ability to perform basic math functions.
+ Good communication skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications (Must have Diploma or GED)**
+ Heavy equipment operation experience is preferred.
+ Construction experience is helpful.
+ Ability to operate material handling equipment including motorized forklifts and road vehicles.
+ Must possess the appropriate state driver's license.
+ If required, a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) must be obtained within six months.
**Work Environment**
The role is based at the El Campo Service Center with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with overtime as needed. The job requires working in both indoor and outdoor environments, including laydown yards in various weather conditions. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided, but steel toe boots are required. A dress code of jeans, long pants, and a t-shirt without inappropriate words or pictures is enforced. Some local travel may be required, and company vehicles may be driven.

This is a Contract to hire position based out of El Campo, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $10.00 - $22.00/hr.
