**Job Title: Stores Attendant-B** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team as a Stores Attendant-B in the Supply Chain Distribution sector. This role does not require a CDL but values warehouse experience including inventory, cycle counts, material handling, forklift operation, and more. You will be working within a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, with potential overtime during weekends or storm work because the company supports the electrical transmission lines (telephone poles and the wires that run between them). The position is based in Pharr, TX, with the possibility of temporary or permanent relocation within specified territories. **MUST HAVE DIPLOMA OR GED.** **Benefits: 401k, Medical, Dental, Vision, Short/ Long Term Disability, 1 Week of PTO from the start, 2 weeks PTO after 1 year.** **Responsibilities** + Issue materials under proper authorization, including picking up, hauling, and delivering materials using company vehicles. + Check received materials for quantity and quality, and initiate and process material receipt records. + Report irregularities and abnormal conditions promptly. + Identify, sort, and record returned materials, managing usable and scrap materials appropriately. + Operate computer terminals and printers for materials management, and utilize other office equipment effectively. + Prepare and pack materials for shipment or storage, including hazardous materials, adhering to safety and environmental procedures. + Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, and overhead cranes. + Assist in efficient storage of materials and maintain inventory levels through cycle counts and adjustments. + Collaborate with supervisors and employees of equal or higher classification. + Perform duties in accordance with company safety rules and operating regulations. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of one year experience in inventory control, management, or material handling. + Basic computer skills with experience in inventory management software like Maximo. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. + Knowledge of logistics related to shipping and inventory relocation. + Ability to perform basic math functions. + Good communication skills and ability to work independently. **Work Environment** Work in both indoor and outdoor environments, adapting to various weather conditions. The dress code includes steel toe boots, jeans, and a t-shirt without inappropriate words or pictures. All other PPE is provided, although side shields for glasses are not. Local travel may be required, and company vehicles might be driven, necessitating an MVR for the position. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to hire role position based out of Pharr, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $10.00 - $22.00/hr.
