Summary of Position (Job Purpose) - Major purpose and functions of the position.
Responsible for:
· Prepare and submit all license applications in a timely manner, in order to meet pre-opening
deadlines.
· Responsible for obtaining necessary licenses for rebranding, resulting from acquisitions.
· Timely renewal of various licenses for each store within assigned portfolio.
· Mailing licenses to stores within portfolio for timely posting.
· Maintaining accurate record of upcoming renewals and tasks tied to same.
· Utilizing multiple licensing software platforms to manage data, request checks, maintain
scanned copies of licenses and monitor dates to avoid late fees and penalties.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities - Primary responsibilities listed in order of importance
· Research of licensing requirements, including environmental health plan reviews for stores
prior to opening, confirming all necessary deadlines, documentation and fee requirements.
· Coordinate with health inspectors during setup of the store to schedule health inspections
prior to opening.
· Partner with field and facility operations to assist with urgent requests for all open locations
in assigned states.
· Renew licenses needed to maintain uninterrupted business operations.
· Ensure timely receipt and distribution of licenses to stores to avoid fines, penalties and store
shutdowns.
· Utilize licensing database to monitor store open dates and adhere to renewal deadlines and
tasks/activities tied to same.
· Contact state and local agencies to obtain copies of missing renewals, invoices and
licenses.
· Receive and sort department mail.
· Reach out to Field Ops to resolve returned mail issues and properly update mailing
addresses within the licensing database.
· Copy, scan, import and index all documents for precise record keeping.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications - Summary of knowledge, experience and education
required.
· High school graduate or GED equivalent.
· Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Extensive experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and web-based software applications.
· Motivated self-starter, capable of working independently and with a team.
Desired Qualifications - Desired but not required.
· Licensing software experience.
· Administrative or clerical experience.
