Overview
The Store General Manager Trainee’s primary duties are to develop a high-performance team, manage the product offerings, deliver customer satisfaction, and administer operational goals.
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
Train to administer operational system that promotes ongoing maintenance to the entire store assetTrain to foster a workplace that results in the development of a high performing teamTrain to recruit, develop, and inspire a highly effective team of retail associatesTrain how to manage product offeringsSupport frontline employees during high traffic on various POS and transaction devicesTrain to onboard and train new employees to prescribed staff levels, up to 350 employeesTrain to administer employee performance management throughout employee life cycleTrain to control labor and overtimeEnforce Company policies and proceduresTrain to implement inventory controlDeliver clean, friendly, and in-stock to a pronounced levelTrain to provide guidance through observing, mentoring, and coaching staffTrain to be a role model and leader; must solve problems, make informed decisions, and manage the workforce and time wisely in order to achieve maximum resultsTrain to ensure that all staff are meeting the execution of daily tasks and operational goalsPerform other duties as required and/or assignedEmployee must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
The position requirements include, but are not limited to:
Bachelor’s degree preferredMinimum of 5 years of relevant and extensive retail experience preferredProficient skill level with Microsoft Office Software including Word, Excel
