\n\t\t\t\t\tKey Responsibilities:\n\nLeadership & People Management:\n\nLead, coach, and develop department managers and associates to achieve sales, service, and operational goals.\nFoster a positive, respectful, and accountable team culture that aligns with Highland Park Market’s mission and standards.\nOversee scheduling, staffing levels, and labor management to meet business needs and budget goals.\nConduct performance reviews, coach for growth, and manage corrective actions when needed.\n\nCustomer Experience:\n\nModel and ensure outstanding customer service throughout the store.\nResolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.\nMaintain store appearance, cleanliness, and product presentation to reflect Highland Park Market’s high standards.\n\nOperations & Financial Management:\n\nManage daily operations including sales floor performance, opening/closing, cash handling, and store security.\nMonitor financial performance — sales, margins, labor, shrink — and implement plans to achieve targets.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, state and local regulations, food safety, and sanitation standards.\nWork closely with department heads and the central office on budgets, promotions, and inventory controls.\n\nCommunity & Brand Engagement:\n\nRepresent Highland Park Market in the community and foster local relationships.\nSupport company initiatives, special events, and charitable programs that strengthen our brand presence.
