We are seeking a reliable and professional Store Clerk to temporarily oversee retail operations, customer service, and store management functions. This short-term leadership role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong retail experience, capable of managing inventory, and ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction.
ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily point-of-sale (POS) operations, ensuring accurate customer transactions including purchases, returns, and exchanges.Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering inquiries, and resolving issues promptly and professionally.Build rapport with customers to understand merchandise needs and support sales initiatives.Manage back-office sales transactions and inventory relief processes to support revenue goals.Coordinate with store personnel to prepare orders for pickup and assist with deployment operations as needed.Oversee inventory receiving, verification, and organization, ensuring proper documentation and storage.Maintain store cleanliness and presentation standards across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and office areas.Process shipping orders and store transfers, ensuring timely and accurate system updates.Support inventory counts, cycle audits, and shelf organization.Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and other assigned duties.Essential SkillsMinimum 2 years of retail experienceStrong customer service and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems.High School Diploma or equivalent.Work EnvironmentThis interim role requires onsite presence 5 days a week during store hours (7:30 AM to 4:00/4:30 PM). Start September 2025- January 2026

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
