Position Statement

The Storage Sales & Residential Consultant is responsible for driving revenue growth through storage solutions and managing direct in-home sales opportunities generated by Crown’s marketing efforts. This role combines strategic business development for storage services with consultative residential sales, ensuring all opportunities are maximized in a team-selling environment. Maintaining a high-performance, customer-driven culture is crucial to success.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Administration
•    Meet and maintain weekly sales conversion targets in accordance with Crown KPIs.
•    Attend and contribute to sales meetings, report on competitor trends, and help develop local strategies.
•    Ensure administrative systems are accurate and up to date, adhering to data input protocols.
•    Prepare costing sheets, quotations, and ensure all costs are clearly communicated and collected prior to service delivery.

Customer Service
•    Deliver exceptional service during in-home consultations and storage solution presentations.
•    Act as a trusted advisor, providing tailored solutions for residential and storage needs.
•    Maintain accurate invoices, documents, and customer files.

Sales Development
•    Identify and pursue new storage opportunities across physical storage solutions.
•    Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure for storage and residential services.
•    Collaborate with operations and marketing to ensure seamless service delivery and campaign success.

Corporate Social Responsibility
•    Promote Crown’s sustainability initiatives and ethical practices during client interactions.

Aptitude, Knowledge, and Qualifications

•    Aptitude: Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
•    Professional Knowledge: Understanding of storage solutions, logistics, and residential moving services.
•    Qualifications: Proven B2B and B2C sales experience, preferably in storage or moving services.

Competencies

•    Commercial acumen and ability to manage complex sales cycles.
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills.
•    Familiarity with CRM tools and reporting systems.
