Job Description
Join our team at a concrete manufacturing plant that specializes in producing precast concrete products for utility and transportation industries. We work with storm drains, light poles, highway rails, and custom projects. Our operations are based in two locations in Royersford, PA, and Spring City, PA.
ResponsibilitiesClean, prepare, and patch concrete products.Remove concrete products from the production area to the stockyard area.Comply with all safety rules and regulations.Operate oxy/acetylene (natural gas) equipment.Utilize hand tools, drills, core drills, generators, drill press, and cut off tools.Understand chain charts and lift capabilities of all chains and lifting bars.Load and offload fleet equipment according to paperwork from Dispatch and Stockyard Leader.Move truck tractor and flatbeds for proper loading.Operate the SMV loader and boom trucks for loading and unloading.Maintain a clean work area and perform housekeeping operations.Ensure consistent attendance as an essential function of the job.Essential SkillsHeavy lifting up to 75 lbsForklift and heavy equipment operationConcrete finishing experienceBasic math skills including addition, subtraction, and basic fractionsReading and interpreting blueprintsExperience with hand and power toolsAdditional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge or experience in concrete, construction, or landscapingAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions and memosAbility to add and subtract two-digit numbers, multiply, and divide with 10’s and 100’sAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructionsDecision-making skills impacting operating efficiencyPhysical ability to perform tasks involving standing, walking, climbing, and liftingWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is an indoor construction site that is older, sometimes loud, and occasionally dark and dirty. Employees work in high, precarious places, with exposure to outside weather conditions, wet or humid environments, moving mechanical parts, and occasional fumes or airborne particles. The noise level is usually moderate. Employees are expected to wear steel toe work boots, long work pants, and a t-shirt. The role requires lifting, climbing, reaching, and bending.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
