Our client, a dynamic leader in the logistics industry, is seeking a Stockroom Clerk to join their team. As a Stockroom Clerk, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the inventory management team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Stockroom Clerk
**Location:** Hampton, VA
**Pay Range:** $16/hr
**What's the Job?**
+ Count, sort, or weigh incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices, and examine stock to verify conformance to specifications.
+ Accept items into stock or release items out of stock and accurately record transactions.
+ Store articles in an orderly and accessible manner according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material.
+ Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, or other labeling equipment.
+ Maintain inventory and other stock records utilizing company ERP software.
**What's Needed?**
+ A high school diploma is required.
+ A minimum of 2-5 years of directly related experience in a stockroom or warehouse environment.
+ Ability to perform periodic cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
+ Familiarity with safety regulations and the ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
+ Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
