A Stockroom Associate is needed to support the food service department. This role involves organizing the stockroom area to ensure that food and supplies are properly stored and rotated. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
ResponsibilitiesOrganize and maintain the stockroom area, ensuring proper storage and rotation of food and supplies.Ensure newer items are placed at the back and older items at the front to facilitate usage.Handle supplies including tin foil, parchment paper, napkins, as well as food items like meat, vegetables, and drinks.Frequently enter and exit walk-in refrigerators or freezers as needed.Assist with utility work such as dishwashing or cleaning counters and floors when not stocking goods.Support meal preparation by assisting the dietary aide with labeling meal orders for patients.Essential SkillsExperience in inventory management and stocking.Ability to work in a kitchen environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsAttention to detail.Proficiency in reading and speaking English.Why Work Here?This position offers the opportunity to join a healthcare network with multiple hospitals in the area, providing potential for internal advancement.
