As a Stockroom Associate, you will ensure the orderly and timely flow of component parts, assemblies, and subassemblies to meet the production schedule's requirements. Your responsibilities will include the issuance of materials to production operations, handling large/heavy workpieces for various operations, and performing area cleanup and safety-related duties. Additionally, you will ensure effective inventory control over all incoming and stocked material, equipment, and supplies, and perform all essential functions independently if needed.
ResponsibilitiesHandle and manage component parts, assemblies, and subassemblies to meet production schedules.Issue materials to production operations efficiently.Manage critical handling of large/heavy workpieces for operations such as shearing, punching, drilling, bending, and deburring.Perform area cleanup and adhere to safety protocols.Ensure effective inventory control over all incoming and stocked materials, equipment, and supplies.Possess necessary computer skills for routine tasks.Communicate clearly with coworkers, planners, material managers, and internal customers to achieve team goals.Identify material shortages and support problem-solving resolutions.Document and distribute scrap/salvage parts.Kit daily or weekly assembly picks as required.Follow established procedures on routine work, with specific instructions only on new assignments.

Additional Skills & QualificationsComfortable lifting 30 lbs.Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.Ability to easily and repeatedly climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch.Willingness to work at various heights using a ladder.Experience in production/manufacturing and warehouse environments.Knowledge of inventory control, shipping and receiving, production control, cycle counts, stocking, and order fulfillment.
