Job Description
We are seeking an Operations Room Coordinator for our department. The ideal candidate will possess inventory skills, basic math counting skills, experience in shipping and receiving, and the ability to walk long distances. Additionally, experience with inventory scanning and customer service is preferred.
Responsibilities
Receive medical supplies into the hospital and may unload trucks during this process.Break down boxes and organize supplies efficiently.Scan products for inventory purposes and budget for the hospital.Stock items in the ORC department within the hospital, maintaining the 'first in, first out' concept by paying attention to expiration dates.Pull carts of supplies to operating rooms.Essential Skills
Inventory control and stocking experience.Attention to detail and ability to take initiative.Capable of working independently and understanding the importance of job tasks.Proficiency in shipping and receiving, Microsoft applications, and data entry.Familiarity with using scanners.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Physical ability to pull carts and handle boxes.Capability to walk 15,000 - 20,000 steps per shift.Why Work Here?

After six months as a full-time employee, you can move into any position you qualify for, potentially working inside of Novant hospitals.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntersville, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
