Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Stocker for the Operation Room Coordinator (ORC) department. The ideal candidate will possess inventory skills, basic math counting abilities, and experience in shipping and receiving. This role requires the ability to walk long distances and any experience with inventory scanning. Customer service skills are also valued.
ResponsibilitiesReceive medical supplies into the hospital and unload trucks as needed.Break down boxes and organize supplies efficiently.Scan products for inventory purposes and budgeting for the hospital.Stock items in the ORC department, ensuring proper organization and adherence to 'first in, first out' practices.Pay attention to expiration dates while stocking items and maintain high standards of inventory control.Essential SkillsStrong inventory control and stocking skills.Customer service expertise.Attention to detail and ability to take initiative.Capability to work independently and understand the importance of job tasks.Proficiency in shipping and receiving, Microsoft applications, and data entry.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to pull carts of supplies to operating rooms.Physical stamina to walk between 15,000 - 20,000 steps per shift.Experience in opening and breaking down boxes, receiving products, and stocking items.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The position operates within a climate-controlled hospital environment, primarily in and out of operation rooms. It is fast-paced and may be somewhat stressful. The shift is from 6am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Scrubs will be provided, and comfortable tennis shoes are recommended due to extensive walking. Employees are encouraged to bring a pair of shoes to keep at work to maintain cleanliness in operation rooms.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
