A dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.Key ResponsibilitiesCleaning and Sanitizing: Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and glassware by hand or using industrial dishwashers, ensuring all items meet health and safety standards. Sorting and Organizing: Scrape, sort, and stack dirty dishes before washing, and properly store clean items in designated areas. Kitchen Support: Assist cooks and chefs by preparing workstations, restocking supplies, and occasionally helping with food preparation. Janitorial Duties: Sweep and mop floors, empty trash, clean sinks and countertops, and maintain overall kitchen cleanliness. Table and Dining Area Support: Remove soiled plates and flatware from tables, reset tables, and ensure dining areas are ready for the next service.What are we looking for?
