What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Steward supports the kitchen and employee cafeteria by keeping all wares, equipment, and work areas clean, safe, and organized.

Responsibilities

\t•Operate and maintain the dish machine, sprayer, and disposal; ensure proper chemical, soap, and sanitizer levels.

\t•Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, silver, pots, pans, and trays; sort, stack, and store in proper areas.

\t•Keep dish area, worktables, floors, drains, mats, and trash stations clean and safe.

\t•Separate and remove trash and recycling; clean and sanitize garbage cans as needed.

\t•Maintain cleanliness and stocking of the employee cafeteria, including equipment, floors, and removal of dirty dishes.

What are we looking for?

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Wage range: $23.00 - $23.00/Hour + Tips

Eligible for 401(k) retirement plan with employer match following 1 year of service under our existing plan

5.5 days of PTO accrued in the first year based on an employee working 20/hours each week

Complimentary meal in employee lounge during workday

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Consistent weekend and holiday schedule availability

Current WA State food handler's permit

Requires strong organizational skills

Must be able to work independently

Able to be on your feet for long periods of time

Able to lift at least 50 pounds

At least 18 years of age
