Sterile Processing Technician – 2nd & 3rd Shifts

Location: Downton Charleston, SC

We are seeking motivated and organized Sterile Processing Technicians to join our team. This critical role ensures our operating rooms and procedural areas are stocked with clean, sterile instruments and supplies to support safe, high-quality patient care.

NOW HIRING FOR:

2nd Shift

Schedule: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday–FridayMust be available for rotating weekendsPay: $20.30/hr

3rd Shift

Schedule: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Monday–FridayMust be available for rotating weekendsPay: $20.75/hrResponsibilitiesInspect, clean, assemble, and sterilize medical instruments and equipmentOperate sterilization equipment (e.g., autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners)Prepare, store, and restock sterile supplies per protocolDocument sterilization and cleaning activities accuratelyAssist operating room staff with supply and equipment setupMonitor inventory and reorder supplies as neededMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety and infection control proceduresReport issues or concerns to supervisors promptlyParticipate in ongoing training and educationSkillsSterile processing (not required but a plus)Assembly and decontaminationProduction and packagingMaterials handling and inspectionQualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDPrevious experience in sterile processing or related field preferredKnowledge of standard sterilization proceduresStrong attention to detail and hand-eye coordinationAbility to lift/move up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsEffective communication and problem-solving skillsTeam-oriented and adaptable to a fast-paced environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.75/hr.
