Job Title: Welder$25+/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welder to perform structural steel welding using the flux core process on I-beams, beams, and complex tube steel columns for structures used in 2 to 3 story buildings.

Responsibilities

Perform structural steel welding using the fluxcore process.Weld on I-beams, beams, and complex tube steel columns.Work with beams and columns ranging from 3/8 inch to 1 inch in thickness.Utilize NR-311 wire, size 332, for welding tasks.

Essential Skills

At least 3 years of experience in structural steel welding using the fluxcore process.Experience in performing production welds on steel and mild steel.Ability to read and interpret weld symbols and drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Nickel, Mig, Fabrication, Tig, and Fitting.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a steel yard that is mostly covered. However, the area is open on the south and east entrances, providing a dynamic and engaging work setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
