**Job Title: Steel Welder** Job Description We are seeking an AWS Certified Structural Steel Welder who will be responsible for welding with MIG, TIG, and stick on structural steel. The role requires blueprint and full fabrication experience to build from scratch, including working with band saws, drills, and creating steel parts for scaffolding equipment such as anchors and cages. Responsibilities + Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on structural steel. + Interpret and work from blueprints for fabrication projects. + Build steel structures and parts from scratch using various tools. + Collaborate closely with the welding lead until their retirement. + Work effectively within a small team environment. Essential Skills + AWS Certification in Structural Steel Welding (D1.1) + Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques + Experience with blueprint reading and fabrication + Ability to work independently and collaboratively Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with using band saws and drills + Strong problem-solving skills + Attention to detail and safety Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
