Statutory Reporting Analyst

Accounting – operational

Lead preparation and submission of annual and quarterly statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP.Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting, tax, and regulatory standards applicable to the LNG a sector.Review consolidation package.Manage timelines and deliverables for statutory close and audit processes.Liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth completion of statutory audits.Maintain robust internal control frameworks to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial information.Monitor regulatory developments in the LNG and energy sector and assess impact on financial reporting.Ensure compliance with LNG-specific financial reporting requirements (e.g. decommissioning provisions, long-term gas sales contracts).Support tax and regulatory filings in coordination with tax and legal teams.Coordinate with all relevant  teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and performance tracking.Coordinate with HQ to align reporting processes and policies.Drive continuous improvement in statutory reporting processes and systems (SAP).Implement automation and best practices to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.

Transversal Finance processes

Perform SOX controls to prevent or detect a material misstatement timely and ensure they are operating as intended or consistent with Accounting and Internal Control BulletinsAssist in Internal, external, JV and Tax audits Assist Treasury, Accounts payable, Tax and Marketing and Shipping Teamfollow company policy and procedures Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Auditing, Tax or Accounting is required. CIMA, ACCA or related finance qualification will be advantageous, plus a professional accounting qualification.Minimum 10 years work experience reputable audit firm. Oil and Gas industry is preferred.Experience in complex joint venture accounting, production sharing contracts, and LNG revenue recognition.Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP.Prior experience working with multinational auditors and large ERP systems (SAP).Deep understanding of LNG industry financial and operational drivers.Strong technical accounting and analytical skills.Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement abilities.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines.Proactive, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial systems, and reporting tools.Experience working in a global or joint venture LNG organization.Familiarity with local regulatory environments in key LNG regions (Qatar, Australia, Malaysia, etc.).Exposure to consolidation and reporting in multi-entity, multi-currency environments.Demonstrated ability to lead teams and mentor junior finance professionals Additional Information TotalEnergies values diversity, promotes individual growth and offers equal opportunity careers.
