Statutory Accounting Manager

Job Description Summary

The Statutory Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the organization complies with all statutory requirements and regulations that are working with the COE. This role will report to the EMEA Controllership Senior Manager. This role involves preparing and submitting statutory financial statements, coordinating with external auditors, and staying updated on changes in legislation. The Statutory Manager will also provide guidance to the finance team and manage risks related to statutory compliance.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee the preparation and submission of statutory financial statements and reports.

· Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.

· Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

· Monitor changes in legislation and update internal policies and procedures accordingly.

· Provide guidance and support to the finance team on statutory matters.

· Manage and mitigate risks related to statutory compliance.

· Prepare and present reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA).

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

· Strong knowledge of statutory regulations and financial reporting standards.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in a multinational corporation.

· Advanced degree (e.g., Master's in Finance or Accounting).
