Job Description
In this role, you will work closely with a small team focusing on modernizing model risk management functions within a large financial institution. You will own specific tasks and projects and will gain hands-on experience while contributing to the team’s success. While exercising your own judgment on how to perform tasks, you will receive close guidance and mentorship aimed at helping you grow. You will build strong working relationships with your peers and supervisor and will gain valuable experiences in a professional environment.
Candidates should be final-year undergraduate students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or related technical disciplines. Introductory level coursework in economics and/or finance is desirable.
Candidates should have the following skills and proficiencies:
Demonstrated experience in Python, JavaScript, and C++ with the ability to develop, test, and maintain applications using these languages.
Proficiency in developing Generative AI and agentic AI applications, including designing, implementing, and deploying advanced AI models and autonomous agents that solve real-world problems, is required. Candidates should be able to demonstrate hands-on experience with relevant frameworks and tools and possess a strong understanding of the underlying architectures and ethical considerations in AI development.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including deploying, managing, and monitoring cloud-based solutions within the Azure platform is required.
Experience in application development with a strong emphasis on designing and implementing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces is highly desirable.
Strong data analytics skills, including the ability to interpret complex datasets, utilize data visualization tools, and apply statistical methods to derive business insights and inform decision-making. Experience with platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics software is highly desirable.
Experience in database management, including designing, implementing, and maintaining relational and non-relational databases to ensure data integrity and security is highly desirable.
Salary Range:
$41,600 - $65,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
