Mondelez Australia is seeking an experienced and dynamic State Manager to drive growth across our Independents customers in South Australia. This role could sit in South Australia or be based in Melbourne Head Office with 2x days per month travel to Adelaide.
This is an initial 12-month contract.

About the Role

This role will use your deep understanding of our categories and brands to sell and expand current customers’ portfolios. In this role, you develop promotional pricing structures to fit with customer needs and create new business opportunities.

Responsible for developing and successfully implementing the commercial plan strengthen and expand Mondelēz International’s position with Independent customers by preparing, negotiating and executing the business plansResponsible for the coordination between the customer and Mondelēz International internal functionsAccountable for maintaining and developing strategic growth plans for Independent customers with a focus on portfolio management, listings, distribution and effective promotion and visibilityBuild and develop strong category partnershipsManage pricing and forecast accuracy in conjunction with supply chain functionTogether with cross functional colleagues evaluate, plan & execute appropriate promotional and in store visibilityMonitor, analyze and report on market developments and competitor developments

You will thrive on the challenge of new business and team collaboration.
You'll bring:

A strong background in professional selling, preferably within the FMCG sector. Bonus points for Independent retailersExceptional negotiation and selling skills, coupled with strong financial acumen and commercial savvyThe ability to build and maintain strategic customer relationships, influencing outcomes and driving mutual successExcellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of facilitating effective two-way communicationsA collaborative spirit, eager to contribute to a "Performance driven, Values led" team cultureTertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline are preferred
