Are you a results-driven sales leader with a passion for new business growth and a knack for strategic partnerships? Mondelez Australia is seeking a dynamic Multi-Channel State Business Development Manager based in South Melbourne, Victoria, to drive our market expansion.

About the Role

This is a pivotal (newly created) role where you'll be instrumental in identifying, targeting, and delivering significant new business within both new and existing customers, with a strategic focus on emerging channels including Pharmacy.

Achieve ambitious sales goals through the effective management of wholesale customers across Victoria

Implement and value-add to our national sales and marketing strategy within the Pharmacy and white space

Build and nurture robust relationships with key customer decision-makers

Develop and execute your pharmacy channel program and Joint Business Plans (JBPs), focusing on ongoing growth for our snack bars portfolio

Support our Operations team and contribute to national rollout initiatives, working closely with the Commercial Activation team

Drive profitable growth by maintaining and developing strategic growth plans for state-based Impulse customers, focusing on portfolio management, distribution, and effective promotional activity

Be accountable for delivering National revenue and volume targets, ensuring flawless execution of New Product Development (NPD).

You will thrive on the challenge of new business and team collaboration.
You'll bring:

A strong background in professional selling, preferably within the FMCG sector, with a preference for experience in Pharmacy

A proven track record in chasing and securing new business, with a strategic mindset

Exceptional negotiation and selling skills, coupled with strong financial acumen and commercial savvy

The ability to build and maintain strategic customer relationships, influencing outcomes and driving mutual success

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of facilitating effective two-way communications

A collaborative spirit, eager to contribute to a "Performance driven, Values led" team culture

Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline are preferred
