As a Senior Associate within the State and Local Government Relations Policy Team, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and communicating both daily and long-term objectives. You will work closely with opinion leaders, elected officials, and issue experts, ensuring that our firm remains at the forefront of policy developments. Your contributions will be vital in assessing political risks and opportunities, supporting executive engagements, and supporting specific policy issues. Job Responsibilities

Coordinate and communicate daily and long-term objectives with key stakeholders.Assist in developing and supporting executive engagement in state policymaker meetings and third-party events.Assess the political and policy landscape to identify existing and emerging policy risks and opportunities.Lead specific policy issues, collaborating with Global Government Relations and other colleagues.Develop and coordinate national updates on key issues for business partners.Execute special internal- and external-facing projects as assigned.Assist with presentations, briefs, and talking points as needed.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Bachelor’s Degree required with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience. Demonstrated understanding of financial service and business issuesStrong analytical and independent problem-solving skills; sound judgment and strong collaborative decision-making skills Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong ability to articulate concepts and strategies effectively Strong organizational skills and project management experience Excellent relationship-building skills High attention to detail; follows through to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness Positive self-starter with proactive approach, excellent time management and prioritization skillsFlexibility to manage constantly changing priorities and timelines
