_Middlebury, IN, USA_ | _Hourly_ | _paid bi-weekly, pay commensurate with experience_ | _Full Time_ _| Health, dental, vision, 401k with match, vacation and sick pay_ **Pay Clerk/Compliance** Reports to: Terminal Manager Status: Non-Exempt . **POSITION SUMMARY** Responsible for: Driver pay Deductions from driver pay (keeping accurate records of such) Logs & Driver Compliance Keeping drivers files up to date Collecting money on back hauls Ensuring all paperwork for trips are turned in (includes fuel tax sheets, logs, etc) **KEY PERFORMANCE FACTORS** **Safety and Compliance** + Maintain current knowledge of industry specific certification, compliance and regulatory requirements + Knowledge of Canadian DOT regulations where applicable **Education and Experience** + 2 4 years of experience transportation beneficial **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Knowledge of transportation industry and regulations + Analytical ability + Critical thinking for independent decisions and problem solving + Basic math computational skills + Written, verbal and interpersonal communication + Planning, organizing and time management + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and transportation software + Customer service acumen Physical Demands None Work Environment Office environment Minimal outside travel _This job description is not intended to describe in detail all the tasks that may be assigned but rather to provide a general sense of the responsibilities and expectations of the position.
