Join an international, family-owned precision metal manufacturing company as a Material Handler. In this vital role, you will be responsible for line-side delivery and pick-up, dumping scrap, maintaining truck wells, organizing pallets, managing cardboard waste, and other housekeeping tasks. This fast-paced position requires constant availability during the shift to support the production floor. You will manage and control the movement of stock from warehouse locations to the production floor and ensure finished goods are placed in the correct locations. Additionally, you will maintain the organization of customer containers to and from the production line.
ResponsibilitiesSupport production by ensuring timely delivery and pick-up of materials (50%).Organize and maintain inventory, including warehouse stock and customer containers (30%).Perform miscellaneous duties as needed, including housekeeping and waste management (20%).
Essential SkillsMaterial handling experience.Order picking and inventory management.Proficiency with stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks.Experience in shipping and receiving processes.2 years of warehouse experience.
Additional Skills & QualificationsStand-up electric forklift experience is a plus.Chauffeur's license is a nice-to-have.

Work Environment
Located at the 1201 Building, you will work in a fast-paced, clean manufacturing environment specializing in metal exhaust systems for automotive manufacturers. Expect some areas to be louder due to automated tube benders, welder machines, material handling robots, and conveyors. The role requires compliance with all PPE and safety requirements, including wearing steel-toe shoes, which you must supply. Safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection will be provided.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
