**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** Join a dynamic and fast-paced team as a Material Handler at an international precision metal manufacturing company. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring the timely delivery and pick-up of materials line-side, maintaining truck wells, organizing pallets, handling cardboard waste, and supporting the production floor. **Responsibilities** + Support the production process by moving stock from warehouse locations to the production floor. + Maintain the organization of customer containers to and from the production line. + Ensure the proper disposal of scrap materials and organization of pallets and cardboard waste. + Keep the truck wells clean and organized. + Handle miscellaneous duties as assigned, contributing to overall housekeeping. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience. + Proficiency in material handling, order picking, and stand-up forklift operation. + Experience in shipping/receiving, inventory management, and packaging. + Familiarity with RF scanners and pallet jacks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with stand-up electric forklifts. + Possession of a chauffeur's license. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy excellent insurance and benefits starting the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Engage in the manufacturing of metal exhaust systems for automotive manufacturers. The environment is fast-paced but clean, with some areas experiencing consistent loud noises from machinery. Adhere to all PPE and safety requirements, including wearing steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection at all times. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
