Our client, a leading logistics and distribution organization, is seeking a Stand Up Forklift Operator  to join their team. As a Stand Up Forklift Operator you will be part of the Distribution Center supporting warehouse operations and logistics functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Stand Up Forklift Operator 

Location: Romulus, MI

Pay Range: $17.50

Shift:

1st Shift- 5AM-1:30PM 2nd Shift- 1PM-9:30PM  Days Vary 

What's the Job?

Operate stand-up electric forklifts proficiently to move pallets and materials within the distribution center Lift and transport loads weighing up to 50 lbs, ensuring safety and efficiency Support production requirements by moving materials between different areas of the facility Unload and load customer trailers, ensuring accurate handling of goods Power-sort pallets by hand as needed, maintaining organized and safe workspaces

What's Needed?

Proficiency with stand-up electric forklift operation Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours) Steel or composite toe work shoes required for safety Good math, language, and reading skills with attention to detail Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts; background check and drug screening required
