Stand Up Forklift Operator
Job Title: Stand Up Forklift OperatorJob Description

We are seeking a skilled Stand Up Forklift Operator to efficiently manage the movement of materials using a standup forklift, specifically a Combilift. This role involves preparing steel beams and flats for the second shift to load onto trucks. The position operates Monday through Friday, from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.

ResponsibilitiesOperate a standup forklift, primarily a Combilift, to transport and organize steel materials.Prepare steel beams and flats for the second shift.Navigate aisles to pick and stage orders efficiently.Ensure all materials are ready for loading onto trucks.
Essential SkillsProven experience operating a standup forklift.Familiarity with Combilift, Hubtex, and Raymond forklifts.Experience in a steel or lumber yard is highly beneficial.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with material handling and order picking.Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.Ability to work effectively in a team of 30.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
