Reports to the Technical Director within the Programme Team. Responsible for Programme interface management with key stakeholders, in order to obtain all approvals related to design, handover, construction and issue resolution.project description
This project will contribute to Abu Dhabi's growth and development by overseeing a diverse portfolio of projects that address key community needs. By managing the development of residential housing projects, ensuring the quality of new educational facilities and mosques, and maximizing urban space through infill development projects, we will create vibrant and sustainable communities, support the education and spiritual needs of the population, and enhance Abu Dhabi's reputation as a global city.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESCreate a stakeholder map and develop, monitor and update the Stakeholder Management PlanDevelop relationships with key stakeholders to enable effective communication between their respective agency and the client ProgrammeSupport the Technical Team and Delivery Managers in successfully driving infrastructure and building project issues through the respective agencies, with the aim to ensure project schedules are not impacted by stakeholder approvals, NOCs and permits.Develop a thorough understanding of each stakeholder agency’s processes and challenges to enable the delivery team to tailor requirements accordinglyFeedback stakeholder issues, with proposed mitigations, to the PMC team to resolve issues and ensure appropriate timescales are included within project schedules for all approvals and permitsAttend coordination meetings with stakeholders and communicate issues to the appropriate ManagerSupport the Technical Team and Delivery Managers to resolve issues between stakeholders and Design Consultants and Contractors in relation to both infrastructure and building projectsMaintain records of Stakeholder concerns, actions, owners, and due datePrepare recommendations to improve communication and approval procedures with stakeholders. EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEBSc construction management, engineering, architecture, or equivalentMinimum overall relevant experience 15 years.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar roleMinimum of 5 years working in Middle EastFluency in Arabic and English languages both written and spokenKnowledge of design and construction management on buildings and civil infrastructure projects including utilities interface and coordination managementParticular experience of dealing with Government Authorities and Utility Service Providers.
