For detailed information on Benefits for this position, click here ( https://hr.uw.edu/benefits/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2018/02/benefits-summary-classified-staff-greater-than-half-time-20250130-a11y.pdf) **Harborview's Psychiatry Department** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Staffing Scheduling Coordinator** **WORK SCHEDULE** + 40 hours per week + Days **POSITION HIGHLIGHTS** + Showcase your detail-oriented skills and problem-solving abilities. + Influence a team and create efficiencies **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** + Schedule RN’s, Patient Service Specialists, and Patient Care Techs in scheduling software (KRONOS) + Recording keeping including tracking minimum shift requirements for intermittent staff members, and tracking timecard exceptions + Process shifts requests + Answer questions from staff members re: staffing/scheduling questions + Schedule staff members for last-minute shifts + Practice fiscal responsibility be minimizing the use of overtime and maintaining productivity within target range **REQUIREMENTS** + High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of administrative experience + OR + equivalent education/experience **DESIRED** + Excellent written and oral communication skills; this role will interact with staff members and communicate regularly with the hospital staffing office + The ability to prioritize and organize tasks + Computer literacy including KRONOS (can be learned on the job) and Outlook (email, Teams, OneDrive) + Knowledge of Union contacts (can be acquired on the job) to ensure scheduling complies with contact language **ABOUT HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER** As the region's only Level I Trauma and verified burn center, Harborview Medical Center is a comprehensive healthcare facility owned by King County and operated by UW Medicine.
