We are currently looking for experienced Low Observable / Survivability staff to work on a variety of challenging projects. One area where we are in the need of talent is in Survivability Software Engineering.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in development of advanced matrix solver techniques
• Proficient at one or more programming language: C, C++, or FORTRAN
• The ability to obtain DoD secret clearance and the ability to obtain SAP/SAR access
• Experience with software development with CUDA or OpenACC
Education/Years of Experience Qualifications:
Staff Software Survivability Engineer: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline AND 12 years of related professional/military engineering experience, OR a Master’s degree AND 8 years of related professional/military engineering experience, OR a Ph.D. AND 6 years of related professional/military engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Math, Physics, Aerospace, Electrical
Engineering, Applied Mathematics or similar discipline from an accred
ited college or university.
• Good understanding of one or more of the following disciplines: compu
tational electromagnetic, infrared, acoustic, and atmospheric science
• Experience with modeling and predicting electrical characteristics of
materials.
• Expertise at one or more of following programming languages: C, C++
(C++11)
• In-depth software development experience with high performance com
puting platforms and concurrent programming (OpenMP and MPI).
• Experience with converting software written in FORTRAN to C/C++
• Demonstrated ability to develop software from physic/math model.
• Relevant experience in user interface development
• Experience with Agile development processes
• Current active Secret or Top-Secret DoD accessEducational/ Experience
Requirements:
Primary Level Salary Range: $171,000.00 - $256,400.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
