And we do it all with heart, each and every day. **Position Summary** **Staff Software Engineer – Migration and Transformation Engineering plays a pivotal role in shaping our customer Migration and Transformation strategy.** This role will be instrumental in identifying key strategic customers and forging deep, collaborative relationships to ensure their enduring success and maximizing their value from our solutions. This role demands exceptional technical depth, strategic acumen, and relationship management skills to effectively engage with various lines of business, including our Infrastructure Engineering leadership. **In this role, you will:** + **Serve as a trusted technical advisor and strategic partner to key customers, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships at the executive level across various lines of business.** You will deeply understand their overarching business objectives, technical landscape, and long-term vision, aligning our technology and roadmap to their evolving needs and proving Infrastructure Engineering product adoption and business value from that adoption. + **Collaborate closely with the Infrastructure Engineering Leadership team to translate the long-term customer strategy into actionable enablement plans and programs.** This includes contributing to the development of tailored customer onboarding, training, best practices, and proactive support initiatives. + **Act as a critical bridge between key customers, Product Management, and Engineering teams, effectively communicating technical concepts to executive audiences and translating their strategic business needs into actionable product requirements.** You will articulate customer needs, provide valuable feedback to influence product direction, and ensure alignment on strategic initiatives. You will also oversee delivery activities to ensure a successful follow-through of strategy. + **Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks and roadblocks for key customers, engaging with executive stakeholders to ensure alignment and facilitate timely resolution.** You will leverage your deep technical expertise to anticipate challenges and develop innovative solutions in collaboration with IE and other ISTS teams. + **Champion a customer-centric culture within the engineering organization, effectively advocating for the needs of key customers at all levels.** You will drive initiatives to enhance the customers’ overall experience (e.g., ease of technology adoption, controlled cost). + **Contribute to the development of Customer Success** best practices and methodologies, sharing your expertise and mentoring other customer-facing engineers. **Required Qualifications** + 7+ years deep knowledge of cloud platforms/applications/ software products or design tools + 7+ years of expertise in microservices based architecture/containers/Kubernetes platforms + 5+ years of direct experience optimizing and modernizing complex enterprise applications from legacy platforms to cloud-based platforms + 5+ years of experience in handling customer expectations and relationship building + Excellent communications skills and proven ability to communicate effectively with senior management and business leaders + Experience evaluating and recommending new solutions to meet enterprise requirements + Demonstrated teamwork, positive attitude and good rapport with peers and customers + Ability to multitask in a fast-paced continually changing environment **Preferred Qualifications** + Agile SDLC experience **Education** + Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $130,295.00 - $284,280.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
