Position SummaryAs a Staff Development Engineer with CVS Health, you will have an oversight of internal applicationsYou will help with leading the work and coordinate with both business and IT stakeholders.Excellent communication and time management skills in addition to a firm understanding of contract management life cycle and Agile methodology.Lead the applications as a technical owner and accountable for all things related to application strategy, performance and future enhancements.Work in a collaborative environment, contributing to agile ceremonies Lead the design of efficient and user-friendly software products to advance and support business needs and required to be hands on with coding.Establishes a clear vision aligned with company values; sets specific challenging and achievable objectives and action plans; motivates others to balance customer needs, budgets, and business success.Supports both the business and technical understanding of the customer experience, back-end technologies/capabilities and business operations.Ability to manage to a timeline in a fast-paced business environment
Required QualificationsSalesforce Expertise: Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration, and integration.Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC)Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP)Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Salesforce CLI)Strong understanding of:Data modeling, workflow automation, security modelsDeclarative tools: Flows, Validation Rules, Process BuilderIntegration Skills: Familiarity with APIs, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and third-party integrations.Building, testing, and deploying code to run on cloud infrastructureExperience in Scrum/Agile development methodologiesPreferred QualificationsStrong skills in design and solution engineering across both on premises and cloud infrastructureOutstanding written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organizationAbility to navigate the technical teams to support the application with new initiatives and programs.Cloud development experience Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skillsCapability to mentor junior and mid-level engineer resourcesPreferred certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II and Salesforce Certified Administrator
EducationBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information systems or related field OR equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$130,295.00 - $260,590.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
