Position Description Staff Product engineer for SiC CJFET Division for New Product Development **Candidate responsibilities include, but are not limited to:** + Lead High Power SiC JFET New Product Development and Package Development (NPD) projects + Facilitate and coordinate design, process, assembly, test and releasing of the product to market + Work closely with design, test, device engineers in varied locations in a team environment + Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders for effective problem solving and completion of product development in a timely manner + Provide and coordinate technical support for the product line + Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams, establish relationships with key contacts in wafer fabs and assembly site for effective project coordination and execution. + Generate and maintain project documents such as product data sheets, test specifications, Engineering build requests, reliability test allocation, test related reports, project documents and support for other manufacturing related documentations. + Agile management for Project documentation + Project Management of time and cost sensitive projects as well as special projects + Collaboration and coordination of global functional teams + Prepare and present status updates, gate reviews of critical projects to the Project Review Board **Position Requirements** + Bachelor/Masters Degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering, at least 6 years of device/product or test engineering experience in a semiconductor environment. + At least 3 years of semiconductor New Product Development (NPD) procedure and execution management experience + Project or Program Management experience of at least 3 years, PMP certification is an advantage. + Experience in semiconductor processes (silicon fabrication/probe testing/assembly/final testing) + Familiar with power devices operations and applications + Strong skills for interpersonal relations, negotiation, including collaboration and coordination with global cross functional teams + Proven track record of effective team leadership, problem solving and good engineering judgment + Good verbal and written communications skills + Strong knowledge of statistical data analysis and problem-solving tools + Ability to multitask & self-driven to produce results in a timely fashion with strong sense of urgency **onsemi** (Nasdaq: ON) is driving disruptive innovations to help build a better future.
