Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has an opening for a Staff Logistics Management Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This full-time, on-site position will be located at the Spectrum Technology Center Campus in San Diego, CA.
Controls the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements. Ensures that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet marketing and financial objectives. Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions. Builds relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives. Integrates learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience; OR Master’s degree with 10 years of experience; OR PhD with 8 years of experience.
Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in logistics, project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions
Experience with Basis of Estimate (BOE) creation and proposal support
Demonstrated experience leading integrated product teams
Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance
The ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access as determined by business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree
Proficient in SAP and Solumina
Experience with reading and understanding technical data (e.g., Technical Orders, Engineering Drawings, Parts Lists, Bills of Material, Engineering Specifications, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication, including presentation skills to senior leadership
Understanding of program risk, opportunity and issue management process
Experience with staffing/demand planning tools and process
Strong MS office suite, SharePoint, Jira, & Confluence skills
Prior QA/MA experience supporting Navy airborne platforms highly desirable
Primary Level Salary Range: $133,000.00 - $199,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
