Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Staff Logistics Engineer Level 5 with the ability to obtain a security clearance to work with our Specialty Engineering Team out of Woodland Hills, CA. What You’ll get to Do:
Perform Logistics and Product Support engineering activities and assist as a technical resource from a program’s concept and proposal phases through development, test, production, and post-production support phases.Serve as the Logistics/Sustaining POC for assigned programs and integrate into program and engineering teams.Support logistics design influence efforts and activities necessary to meet system performance requirements.Analyze and interpret technical data (e.g., drawings, manuals, specifications, etc.) to develop technical and logistics dataCreate/update relevant reports such as task analysis, maintenance plans, or provisioning requirements reports.Perform/develop/update Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).Develop maintenance concepts to ensure the most affordable and effective mission readiness solution.Develop and execute plans for Technical Publications/training materialsPlan, execute, and maintain responsibility for activities that sustain the operation and maintenance of systems to ensure mission readinessBe an engaged and versatile team member of the Integrated Logistics Support team seeking to continuously improve upon existing practices.Utilize engineering background and analytical skills and knowledge of a wide array of industry tools used to conduct Logistics analysis and provide status to the Integrated Product Team (IPT) on a regular basis.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience; 10 years of experience with MS; 8 years of experience with a PhD. An additional 4 years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree.Experience in Integrated Logistics Support, Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Product Support, Reliability, Maintainability, or other logistics related disciplineExperience in developing/generating various types of logistics supportability analysisDemonstrated experience in developing and delivering Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and Life Cycle Cost AnalysisPC mastery with Microsoft Windows Office Products, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.Demonstrated excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation skills and ability to interface directly with internal program office and external customer.U.S. citizenshipThe ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance within a timeframe acceptable to managementAbility to work full-time onsite at the Woodland Hills, CA facilityPreferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited universityExperience in military maintenance and sustainment supportEngineering design background generating new designs, models, and drawingsExperience leading continuous improvement initiatives that drive change in an organizationKnowledge of analyzing data/trend analysis or databases for tracking logistics and inventoryExperience in leading and monitoring assigned tasksExperience supporting procurement activities to meet demanding build schedulesExperience developing LSA products in accordance with MIL-STD-1388, GEIA-STD-0007 or MIL-PRF-49506 in LSA database tools such as EAGLE or SLICwaveExperience with Packaging, Handling, Storage and TransportationUnderstanding of repair level analysis and life cycle cost modelingPrevious experience using LSA data to develop either technical data, technical publications, Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETMs), or training productsPossess active DoD Security Clearance (investigation completed within last 5 yearsPrimary Level Salary Range: $133,000.00 - $199,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
