This position defines and monitors the Mission Assurance (MA) specifications and processes to ensure mission success of.  It will be located in Baltimore, MD.
 

Assures risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of program achievements, subcontractors, and suppliers in accordance with contractual requirements.
 

Assesses program performance and risks and determines resources to ensure MA effectiveness.
 

Provides technical solutions and insight which supports Quality Management System (QMS) functions on Department of Defense (DOD) software and hardware engineering, development, test, integration, and production programs. Utilize customer and Northrop Grumman Mission Assurance policies and procedures, such as ISO 9001/AS9100, to help realize those solutions.
 

Determine quality improvement factors
 

Experience providing root cause analysis and presenting key metrics to Quality leadership. Attention to detail coupled with the ability to quickly learn, assess, and apply new processes/procedures.
 

Mentoring factory Quality Engineers
 

Creating return to green plans for major quality-related issues
 

Lead RCCA activities for factory-wide quality-related issues
 

Recommend statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product Quality, and propose changes to improve system and/or process capability
 

Develop documentation as required to support customer and test/certification requirements
 

Brief on quality-related projects, issues, or data at an executive level

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in STEM and 12+ years of related experience in quality or engineering; 10+ Years related experience in quality or engineering with Masters degree and a bachelors with a STEM

Experience with AS9100/ISO9001 Quality Management experience

Experience with Root Cause analysis and Corrective Action Planning

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering

Experience in SAP

Experience working with electrical or mechanical design requirements and specifications.

Experience in a lead role providing advisory input and mentorship

Salary Range: $148,800.00 - $222,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
