Staff Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineering
Staff Quality Engineer – 12‑Month Contract (Good chance of extension or full time hire)Requirements + Experience: 4+ years in a similar Quality or Engineering role, preferably within Medical Device. + Education: Engineering‑related degree required. + Location: Onsite required. Position Description + Develops and implements methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection to ensure products are free of defects and function as intended. + Designs and installs advanced testing equipment; performs product testing and analysis to maintain quality standards and minimize failure rates. + Reviews reports and defective product trends to recommend corrective actions. + Collaborates with suppliers to resolve quality issues and support supplier quality improvement initiatives. + Functions as an independent individual contributor, applying professional judgment with minimal supervision. + Exercises mastery in a specialized discipline, typically acquired through formal education (degree or equivalent) and substantial relevant work experience. + Applies technical principles and discipline‑specific concepts to resolve evolving issues with strong attention to detail and analytical judgment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $54.19 - $54.19/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
