Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Corporate Financial Analyst to perform various accounting activities related to project spend and capital management. This role involves month-end close activities, preparation of journal entries, and maintaining project spend reports to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
Responsibilities
Perform project spend accounting activities, including month-end close, review of overall spend, preparation of journal entries, and internal order settlement.Complete monthly capital and lease balance sheet account reconciliations.Create and maintain bi-weekly actual vs budget reports to monitor overall spend for all open capital.Create and maintain internal orders in appropriate systems such as SAP and SharePoint.Create and maintain project spend reports to monitor overall spend for strategic projects.Hold quarterly meetings with assigned locations to review open projects.Review and approve invoices for strategic projects, as needed.Assist with bi-annual review of open project cleanup.Update and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures.Engage in ad-hoc analyses and reporting as needed to support the growth and development of the business.Submit monthly fixed asset additions, disposals and transfers.Submit quarterly lease drawdowns on projects.Create journal entries to move project expenses, as needed.Communicate with appropriate individuals to determine if lease buyouts are to be capitalized or written off to general ledger account.Submit in-service assets to be capitalized and create journal entries to write-off assets no longer in service.Obtain monthly lease invoices from vendor database if not sent via email.Create lease invoice payment vouchers, approve and code in appropriate system.Communicate with the Accounts Payable team and bank contacts to resolve any invoice discrepancies.Essential Skills
Proficiency in accounting, general ledger, and reconciliation.Experience with project accounting and month-end processes.Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Ability to create and maintain reports using SAP.Knowledge of capital project management.Excellent communication and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).0 to 2 years’ experience in accounting or finance.SAP experience preferred.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.Attention to detail and accuracy.Job Type & Location

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
