Staff Attorney
### Job Duties Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid has an opening for a Staff Attorney at the Minnesota Disability Law Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role will provide special education legal services through legal advocacy, negotiation, mediation, litigation, and handling of administrative and court cases. They will: interview clients, review records, conduct legal research, and represent clients in administrative hearings and state and federal judicial proceedings. Interpret laws, rulings and regulations for clients. Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases. Conduct trainings, outreach, and community education. Monitor facilities that serve people with disabilities. Utilize organizational technology to track case progress and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
