The Staff Associate I, Advising & Academic Success will provide programmatic implementation support; enhance program communications; and collaborate with campus stakeholders to improve academic support and advising initiatives for first-generation, low-income, transfer, underrepresented, and/or historically underserved students. Full job description can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1NewWa3MEGgvMQRMk1n1hinzRRuLxsdZLlAMWBaiIh-c/edit?usp=sharing Job Requirements REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree and one year of relevant experience; experience in advising, counseling, or academic administration within higher education, specifically supporting first-generation, low-income, transfer, underrepresented, and historically underserved students; demonstrated understanding of the unique challenges faced by these student populations; strong organizational, communication, and program-development skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences; proven ability to collaborate with students, faculty, and staff to strengthen support initiatives; excellent judgment, discretion with confidential information, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks; ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; and willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends and travel for Interphase EDGE/x retreats.
