We are seeking a talented individual to join our Global R2R Operations General Ledger Controllership team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Urbandale. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As a Staff Account II, you will work in a fast-paced environment within a company that upholds strong values, taking ownership of financials and being deeply involved in the business operations. Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliationsPrepare, review and/or approve journal entriesAssist in the monthly/quarterly reporting requirementsAnalyze opportunities for process improvements and efficienciesPerform other duties as assignedWhat you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields3+ years of accounting related experienceStrong communication/interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with both stakeholders and colleagues in a fast-moving professional team environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including advanced Excel knowledgeAbility to manage your work efficientlyStrong financial and analytical skillsStrong attention to detailWhat makes you stand out?
