Description Nick Corieri from Robert Half is working with an Ithaca area client of his that is looking to hire a Staff Accountant with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable. Responsibilities: • Prepare and record journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting. • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to support proper accounting practices. • Oversee billing operations, including Medicaid billing, ensuring compliance with regulations. • Manage accounts receivable processes, including tracking payments and resolving discrepancies. • Utilize FUND E-Z software for efficient financial management and reporting. • Assist in month-end close procedures, verifying data and generating reports. • Collaborate with payroll to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation. • Provide financial insights to support organizational decisions and planning. • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements. • Support audits and provide necessary documentation as needed.
