To Apply for this Job Click Here Our client in the Irving area is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team.Responsibilities and requirements include:Requirements:1+ years of Accounting experience (Candidate will be trained)Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance is a plus Revenue & Billing:Support progress billing based on completed timesheetsCollaborate closely with Project Managers and field teams to gather accurate billing dataEnsure timely and accurate invoice generationAccounts Receivable & Cash Application:Manage Canadian accounts receivable and cash applicationOwn collections efforts, including consistent, customer-facing follow-upsWork cross-functionally with Sales to resolve outstanding balancesMaintain and manage AR aging (35-70 customers; <100 invoices/month)Handle high-dollar invoices (some exceeding $1M)Support DSO management through consistent follow-upCost of Goods Sold (COGS) Support:Perform reclassifications related to technician timesheetsExample: reclass labor costs from OpEx to COGSSupport gross profit-level accounting activitiesFollow existing processes (documentation is limited; process already exists)
